I want to help!

There are many ways you can get involved with the Celebrating Community effort. We have focused Celebrating Community on the Millennium Development Goals. To learn more, click the MDGs button at the navigation bar above.

We’re unleashing the spirit of the St. Margaret’s community’s shared commitment to service. The 30,000 service hours is wonderful goal and we know we can meet it, however, any work we can do to support the MDGs and to help people in our community will be a rewarding sign of success. We hope every member of the St. Margaret’s community will participate at some level.

Ways to get involved:

1) Share with us which partner organizations you’re interested in, what kinds of community service you’d like to do or which one of the MDGs you’d like to help support and we’ll recommend organizations or projects for you.

2) Create service projects on your own to support local community needs that are important to you. You can work with an established charitable organization, or create your own. Encourage your family, friends and others within St. Margaret’s to join your effort. Grow your project!

3) Register the community service you’re already involved with by selecting the “I want to share my your story” button on the right.

4) Check out the events on the right column of this page and register to participate.

5) Contact your division community service coordinator to find out about ongoing service projects at the school or to solicit help for service projects you’re already involved in.
