Project Angel Food is a nationwide, nonprofit food distribution program for all that provides quality food on a monthly basis to help supplement monthly grocery expenses. St. Margaret’s is becoming part of this ministry, with a first food distribution date of Saturday, February 27. This provides numerous ongoing volunteer opportunities that we need your help with. From 7 a.m. until noon on the fourth Saturday of every month, we will need greeters, check-in assistance, “valets” to escort the clients and help to pick up the food items for each order, volunteers to help keep the food items well-stocked, to help with check-out, with set up and clean up, and more. You can work a full morning or a portion of the morning, you can help escorting guests, or as a greeter—whatever works best for you! If you would like to help, we would love to have you join our St. Margaret’s Angel Food Team. Sign up in the Fountain Courtyard, and join us for the volunteer information meeting following the 9:30 a.m. St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church service on Sunday, February 21. For more information, contact Program Coordinator John Heppert at (949) 582-0583 or at kdsnk9s@cox.net.
